Today I was sitting on the mud room floor attempting to dye my ballet shoes black. It's a long story but you know what? I have just decided that I am going to tell you about it. So I am in my school musical which starts next week. (whoop-dee-doo!!! I can't wait. I love the adrenaline!) and there is a dancing part in it. Well, I could have sworn that they said they prefer black dancing shoes but pink shoes would have worked just fine. Well! I go to dress rehearsal and find that I am the only with pink ballet shoes. Fabulous. But what can you do? So I do my little bit and that's that. So, we have notes at the end of the show and my teacher, let's call him Mr. Bauer. He says, "Dancers, make sure your shoes are..." and he turns my way and looks right at me, "black." I say. So in fear of sticking out too much (and getting in to loads of trouble by Mr. Bauer) my shoes are in a bucket of black dye and yet still plum purple. I suppose it is one of the mysteries of life.
Back to my original thought: So I was sitting on the mud room floor, listening to Christmas music, and I couldn't help but sway with the music right? Then I look out the window and I see that the wind is very strong outside but you know what else I see? The trees are swaying too! It's like they love Christmas music just as much as I do! 45 more days my friends, 45 more days.... Serendipity, Serendipity, Serendipity!
